Contribution to Learning In 5304
This semester, I took two courses: EDLD 5315, Assessing Digital Learning and Instruction, and EDLD 5304, Leading Organizational Change. At the end of our 8-week course, students must reflect on their time in class and assess their contribution to the class. For this course, I rated myself at 98. I achieved this goal by completing my assignments ahead of the deadline, taking the initiative, and communicating with fellow classmates frequently.

Personal Reflection:
Things that worked for me were that I worked on my assignments ahead of time and did not wait until the last minute. I tried to ensure I had all my readings and discussions done promptly. I used my class conferences every day, and even stayed late after school to work on class material to get ahead. I tried hard not to leave it until the night before. I tried to plan accordingly, so I was ahead of the game. I even printed out my course grade book so I would know my due dates. I kept my ePortfolio up to date with our assignments and did not wait until the last minute to prepare everything. In fact, I had already drafted my initial course page for 5304 and the place holders for the material. Then, I linked the papers once I had completed the work.

On my first assignment, "What's your why?" I scored a 50/50. I was super excited. I spent time making sure I had done it correctly, and I was thrilled when I received the grade.

On my second assignment, Influencer Strategy A&B, I scored 150/150 points, which surprised and excited me. I looked forward to feedback on both assignments, but there wasn't any for this class. That's okay, though.

On our third assignment, Installing 4DX with your Organization, I spent the whole weekend working on this assignment. It was definitely a brain teaser. A template to outline my material and better align with what was being asked would have been a big help.

All in all, this class was enjoyable. I learned about being a leader and all its different aspects. I could see things from that perspective and grow more as an individual. I appreciate the topics that were taught.

Regarding class discussion boards, I took the lead and created the GroupMe chat for our class and actively communicated/ participated with classmates, not only in our discussion posts but also within our GroupMe chat. We discussed many of our assignments and helped each other grow not only within this course but in our profession as well. Within our discussion posts, I commented between two and four times on other classmates' posts. I tried to give constructive criticism and positive feedback. I also felt like I got the same in return.

Core Collaboration Group:
My core collaboration group comprised Keslie Adams, Ann Zastryzny, Leslie Gutierrez, and Ayla Rightenour. We have been going through this program since October 2024 and established a group name when we had Dr. Johnson in January of 2025 called, ✨The Extras.✨. We have our own chat group going constantly and discuss our assignments, our life, and life in our classroom. I also talked to Benjamin Portillo a lot as well. He and I discussed many of our courses, their work, what we are currently doing, and what I have to look forward to in my upcoming classes. We talk daily as well about life and school.

In this course, 16 people joined our GroupMe chat and talked frequently. Those people are Kelsie Adams, Benjamin Portillo, Elizabeth Goffney, Emily Matheny, Karimi Garcia, Katia Soto, Maisie Mackay, Marie Lockett, Nika Quinones, Paula Correa, Tytiauna Goode, and Yusmila De Nicolo de Ocando. However, most people, if not everyone, in the chat contributed and helped everyone in some way. We were a very active and chatty group. We had good and deep conversations.

Conclusion:
In conclusion, I have gained considerable knowledge regarding this course. I'm very
I am proud of myself for writing and producing class materials this semester. We have had some great discussions and thought-provoking talks. I have made friends in this course and grown more as a person and educator. I also enjoyed this course. I am beyond proud of myself for what I accomplished while teaching, balancing home and personal life, and getting dinner on the table.

In addition to this course, I was also enrolled in EDLD 5315 with Dr. Kristie Meeuwse. So, while I wrote all these papers and research outlines for her class, I also worked on these papers and projects.

Thank you, Dr. Padovan, for all your help and feedback on our papers and class material.
