Angela Speck is passionate about students, digital media, and technology-rich learning. She has worked in education for over 15 years and has been a classroom teacher for 9 of those years. Angela specializes in Digital Art & Animation and Video Game Design for 8th graders at a Title I middle school in Houston.
She focuses on project-based learning, curriculum development, and hands-on tech integration. With a background as a campus technician, she brings practical expertise in device repair and classroom technology support. Angela holds a bachelor’s and Master's degree from Lamar University (2015), certifications in Technology Applications (EC–12) and Business Marketing (6–12), and is currently pursuing ESL and Technology Education certificates.
She builds student-centered environments where creativity, iteration, and collaboration drive growth in digital illustration, animation workflows, and foundational game mechanics. Angela creates scalable lessons that blend art and coding while helping students develop digital portfolios and real-world projects.
As a mentor and advocate, she emphasizes accessible, culturally responsive tech instruction for diverse learners at a Title I school. Her goal is to empower young creators with the technical fluency and creative confidence to pursue future pathways in design, media, and STEM.
